December 1, 2020 – Robert Montgomery, Ty Myers and Tylynn Payne have recently joined DGC Law’s Midland Office as new associate attorneys.

Ms. Payne practices trial and appellate law and focuses on oil and gas and commercial litigation matters. She is involved in the firm’s representation of clients in lawsuits relating to oil and gas lease, contract, and title disputes. She obtained her law degree from the Texas Tech University School of Law earlier this year and holds a B.S. in Political Science from Tarleton State University. Ms. Payne noted, “I am excited to begin my career at DGC where I will gain invaluable litigation experience representing a diverse number of clients within the energy industry.“

Mr. Myers practices in the energy group at the firm, where he focuses on oil and gas title examination. He obtained his law degree from the Texas Tech University School of Law and holds a B.B.A. in Finance from Texas Tech. Mr. Myers said, “Being able to work in the oil and gas industry and learn from some of the best and most experienced attorneys will be rewarding work. It is a privilege to be able to practice at a firm that is one of the best at helping clients solve their problems, and I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.”

Mr. Montgomery practices in DGC Law’s business acquisitions, organizations, and governance division. He, too, is a recent graduate of the Texas Tech University School of Law. He holds an M.B.A. from Texas Tech University’s Rawls College of Business and a B.A. in Government from the University of Texas. Mr. Montgomery stated, “I am very excited to be at Davis, Gerald & Cremer and be able to work among a group of attorneys leading the energy industry. It is a privilege to practice alongside experienced attorneys specializing in litigation, title examination, regulatory compliance, and business acquisitions. The extensive knowledge of the firm creates a unique environment allowing comprehensive solutions to be provided to each client.  I can think of no better place to practice law, and I am excited to be a part of the legal community in Midland.”
