Davis, Gerald & Cremer is a full-service, energy-focused law firm, with offices in Midland and Austin, Texas. DGC counsels industry-leading clients and provides superior legal work and services, including:
- Trying complex as well as novel issues before trial courts and in arbitration, and litigating those issues at the appellate courts;
- Assisting oil and gas operators with all facets of Texas regulatory law, including representation in contested case hearings before the Railroad Commission of Texas;
- Interpreting increasingly complicated oil and gas title, determining resulting ownership positions, and resolving concerns regarding similar issues that arise in the ownership and operation of oil and gas leases; and
- Negotiating and closing transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures; farmout, operating, development and other energy agreements; along with day-to-day and corporate matters.

Lateral Litigation Associate
Davis, Gerald & Cremer is hiring an associate to join our trial and appellate practice in Midland, Texas, the hub and heart of the country’s oil and gas industry. The group focuses on commercial litigation, specializing in the energy sector. DGC routinely prepares for and tries complex and novel issues and then litigates them through the appellate process.
The ideal candidate graduated law school between 2019 and 2022, is admitted to practice in Texas, has a strong academic record, and has experience in a complex, pretrial litigation practice (including discovery, legal research, and motions practice).
Lateral Oil and Gas Title Associate
Davis, Gerald & Cremer is hiring an associate to join our oil and gas title practice in Midland, Texas, the hub and heart of the country’s oil and gas industry. The group focuses on rendering title opinions of all types, due diligence for large-scale assets, along with accompanying curative and other document preparation, for lands in both Texas and New Mexico.
The ideal candidate graduated law school between 2018 and 2020, is admitted to practice in Texas and New Mexico, has a strong academic record, and has substantial experience in oil and gas title work.
Associates work closely with partners and other associates in a collaborative process to learn and grow their legal skills. DGC has a sophisticated client base, and all attorneys share a common goal of providing excellent work and services to clients.
