About DGC Law • Serving the Permian Basin and beyond

Since the firm's inception in 1994, we have served a growing number of Fortune 500, large independent and privately-owned oil and gas clients in significant cases and transactions. In many instances, we work in tandem with (and against) some of the largest firms and best lawyers in Texas and throughout the United States.

Our trial and appellate lawyers have defended and prosecuted cases involving virtually every aspect of the exploration, production, transportation, and marketing of oil and gas. We also handle environmental tort cases, fiduciary claims, trade secret/intellectual property disputes, insurance coverage disputes, employment disputes, serious personal injury defense, and ad valorem tax cases. Our energy attorneys negotiate and document key acquisitions of producing properties and handle all aspects of title examination in addition to advising oil and gas clients on ongoing business matters.

DGC Law attorneys also represent clients operating in numerous other industries, including real estate, banking, financial services, manufacturing, health care, and entertainment. The firm's business organizations & governance lawyers handle negotiations of all kinds for clients in many different business areas, as well as private stock offerings, asset sales, stock sales, and reorganizations and mergers.

Our attorneys typically work in small teams to provide efficient and effective staffing to our clients. In each representation, our goal is to fully understand the client and the issues at hand and to achieve optimal results. To this end, we often work across practice groups to create broad-based solutions. Because of our size, we are able to quickly communicate and interact with one another to bring immediate consideration to issues as they arise.

We are proud that DGC Law is a mainstay in the Midland legal community and look forward to making further contributions to our dynamic city and the Permian Basin region.
